| GENERAL
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Membership:
1. The Annual Membership fee of $5.00 shall enroll you as a member
of the
Society for the current year. Children 16 and under Membership
fee is $1.00.
ENTRIES:
2. Closing date for Livestock is Aug. 28, 2009-Beef/Aug.14, 2009-Dairy. NO POST ENTRIES.
3. The necessary entry fees must accompany all entries.
4. Every article or animal exhibited must be the bona fide property
of
the exhibitor.
5. No article or animal is to be exhibited in more than one class
or section,
except where especially mentioned in the prize list.
6. No animal or article entered for competition shall necessarily
entitle the
winner to a premium, unless deemed worthy for a prize by the judges.
7. Any person who attempts to interfere with the judges or Exhibition
officials
while in the discharge of their duties, or who use any contemptuous
or
abusive language to any judge in consequence of any award made
by him,
shall forfeit his right to any premiums to which he might otherwise
be entitled
and shall be excluded from membership in the Society for a period
to be
determined by the Society Directors.
8. It is understood that the exhibitors shall release the Quinte
Exhibition &
Raceway (the Belleville Agricultural Society), its Officers &
Directors from
all claims for damages arising from loss or destruction of, or
injury or
damages to any attendant or other negligence or otherwise and
the
exhibitors agree to indemnify the Belleville Agricultural Society
against
all claims or demands of any kind or nature by reason of any loss,
injury
or damage occasioned by any animal or other exhibit, arising from
the
negligence or misconduct of any person in charge of such exhibit.
9. Livestock must arrive at the time stated in the Prize Book.
10. All horses being exhibited at the fair are to be negative
to an
immunodiffusion test (Coggins test) within six months of the date
of the Fair.
11. Special Rules pertaining to each particular class will be
printed at the
beginning of each Division. These will be strictly enforced.
12. All correspondence, request for information, entries except
for (Beef and
Dairy) must be forwarded to:

EXHIBITOR
PASS POLICY
13. Each exhibitor will receive one pass only for the day of their
competition.
14. Committee has the option to cancel or combine classes with
less than
three entries.
15. Entry fees are used to cover the costs of processing entries
and are
non-refundable.
16. Should any question arise not provided for in the rules and
regulations,
the decision of the Board of Directors shall be final.
17. The Society recommends that all livestock exhibitors carry
Liability
Insurance.
18. Bldg.2 – all tags must be signed by exhibitor and on
items before
submission to building.
Maximum of 15 entries per division. All junior tags must have
age or
they will be disqualified. Junior Winners may be asked to demonstrate
on Sunday, September 6, 2009.

ADMISSION:
$5.00/person (child, adult, senior)
$1.50 per ride coupon
$30.00/person for strip of 22 coupons
$35.00/person for ride-all-day coupon
