-Do not wash potatoes or squash. Use a wool cloth to clean the soil from the surface.
-Onions must be dried and ready for storage. Peeling too much of the
outer shell off will be discounted.
-Pumpkins can be washed but not polished with wax or oils. Uniformity, Size and Trueness to Type and condition gain the highest points on the judge’s card.
-Carrots must have 1” tops.

Competition open to any cheese-maker in Canada. Cheese must be at grading
temperature at time of judging. All cheese may be wrapped in "Canada" or plain
wrapper. Cheese in all classes may be coloured or white. Exhibits may be
placed on Wednesday August 31st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday
September 1st from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
