YOUTH HORSE CAMP
 

Ontario Harness Horse Association & Quinte Exhibition & Raceway 
are hosting a Youth Camp 
August 9 - 11, 2006 at Quinte Raceway.

Eigh (8) lucky applicants between the ages of 10 & 13 will be selected to participate in a 4 day introduction to Standardbred Horse racing. Participants will become horse caregivers for 4 days doing all the things that a trainer would do including feeding, cleaning, harnessing, driving, and bathing the horse . Class room sessions teach lots of fun & interesting stuff about horses. At the end of the weekend participants will drive their horse in a horse race!!! (with some help from a professional driver).

Complete the Youth camp application & a 200 word essay on “Why I want to drive a race horse”.
