About
The Belleville Agricultural Society is a non-profit corporation, incorporated in 1821, “as an Agricultural Society within the meaning of the Ontario Agricultural and Horticultural Organizations (AHO) Act.”

Throughout its 203-year history, the BAS has worked to provide our community -rural and urban – with programs (primarily during the Quinte Exhibition) that help enhance both the needs of the agricultural/rural community as well as develop more understanding of that community within the urban environment. The Quinte Exhibition is the 2nd and 3rd oldest Fair in Ontario and Canada respectively.
Our Mission
To build partnerships to provide agricultural awareness and education for our communities. We endeavor to meet the needs of rural and urban communities by hosting exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, and other events and activities.

A connected community where agricultural heritage, education, and modern gathering spaces bring people together year-round.
